The Odd Fish is a warm and funny eco-adventure with a clever message about looking after our blue planet.

When Little Fish and her family encounter an odd new fish bobbing along on its own, they embark on an exciting journey to reunite it with its family. But Odd Fish isn’t the only creature who needs Little Fish’s help. Turtle has a tummy ache and Octopus’s tentacles are tangled. Clever readers will spot the one thing that links them all… plastic!

The Odd Fish is written by Naomi Jones and illustrated by her husband James. Naomi and James live in Cornwall, with their two boys, a springer-spaniel and their black and white cat.

Suitable for ages 3-6

Themes: Environment, Sustainability, Nature, Animals

Join Naomi and James for this live-streamed, interactive Zoom event. Schools will be able to submit their own questions during the event or in advance. Don’t forget to bring along paper and a pencil for the draw along with James!
