Opening the Book is a series of events from publishing company Hachette, that open up the publishing industry for writers and readers from all backgrounds.
Join the bestselling thriller writer Mick Herron in an intimate conversation about his long and successful career. Born and raised in a working-class family in Newcastle, Mick’s route to the top of the bestseller lists has been a lesson in practice and patience across more than 20 years.
Mick is one of the most widely recognised thriller writers at work today and with a major Apple TV adaptation of his latest novel, Slough House, in the works staring Gary Oldman, Kristin Scott Thomas and Jonathan Pryce. This is a wonderful opportunity for readers and aspiring writers to hear from an author at the top of their game.
