This event is part of our Literary Pilgrimage of Durham Commission.
Durham Book Festival 2020 has commissioned a special downloadable audio walk around Durham City celebrating fact and fiction inspired by, associated with, and written about Durham. Hear stories of ancient scribes, poets, prize winning authors, political discourse, and folklore; and see Durham from a new perspective. The walk lasts approximately 1.5 hours, or longer if you take your time enjoying the views and sampling the fare on offer along the way.
Listen to the walk as a podcast below, read a transcript of the podcast here, follow the route on google earth by clicking here, or register to watch a filmed armchair version of the walk highlights on 10 October.
