A Room of One’s Own: Kerry Hudson and Suzanne Moore

03 December 2019

In 2019 we commemorated the ninetieth anniversary of Virginia Woolf’s seminal essay, A Room of One’s Own by commissioning writers Kerry Hudson and Suzanne Moore to write about the conditions they need to thrive as women writing today. They were joined on stage by Eley Williams, who was commissioned by the Royal Society of Literature to contribute to their anthology A Room of My Own  which is linked to their report of the same name and explores what writers need to work today.

Suzanne’s piece Find a Room of your own: top 10 tips for women who want to write, was published in the Observer Magazine.
